Holograph manuscript, ink illustration with 2 separations, correspondence, typed commentary by Ms. Balian, reviews, a book jacket for the book The Blind Men and the Elephant illustrated by Paul Galdone, promotional material. An adaptation of the poem by John Godfrey Saxe which tells an East Indian fable illustrating the moral that to find out the whole picture one must first put together all its parts.

Lorna Balian, nee Kohl, was born December 14, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
